About a year ago, my mom’s best friend came out to Colorado with her kid, Katie (not her real name), for a summer road trip filled with climbing, adventure, and great memories. One evening over dinner, I was sharing the vision behind Here Every Day when Katie told me about a friend of hers who would be perfect for collaborating on a design. That friend was Ella Johnson.
Ella is not just an incredible artist but also an inspiring mountaineer. She’s been on a mission to climb the highest mountain in all 50 states since she was 3 years old. Last year, she reached her 49th state highpoint and is now raising money to climb Denali, the highest peak in North America, which would be her 50th. Ella finds joy in the mountains like nothing else and loves sharing the beauty of the outdoors through her art.
After many texts and exchanges of ideas, Ella and I worked together to create a stunning

skiing design that perfectly captures the spirit of Colorado’s slopes. It’s more than just a cool design—it’s a tribute to the beauty of the outdoors and the adventures that await in the mountains. The design landed on both a t-shirt and a sweatshirt, and every time I see them, I’m reminded of the collaborative journey and the power of community.
That’s when I realized I could make Here Every Day about more than just clothing. I could use it to promote talented artists like Ella and create a community centered around being present, being true, and showing up. When you wear this design, you’re not only supporting a young artist’s dream of summiting Denali—you’re also becoming part of a bigger movement to live authentically and celebrate the outdoors.
So, here’s to Ella, her incredible artwork, and the community we’re building together. Each t-shirt and sweatshirt is a reminder to stay present, embrace your true self, and keep showing up—even when the mountains are high
If you have a design and would like me to use it on an article of clothing, then email it to me.
